You Won't Believe Your Ears!

WE'RE CHANGING THE WORLD ONE SONG AT A TIME...

We do Christian/Gospel Music exclusively...

It all begins with a song... and hopefully ends when someone hears that song and is touched by the words & music in a way that only a great song can!  As a singer/songwriter myself, I understand the incredible journey from pen to the human ear... or should I say "heart"?

For anyone who's written a song, and then set out to record it; the journey from words on a piece of paper to finally being published and heard by human ears somewhere; can be a crazy and often frustrating process. I know I've done it too many times to count.

From the days of recording with 4 track reel-to-reel machines(which the Beatles actually did with George Martin's guiding genius),  and DAW*, we've seen the steady evolution of recording change almost beyond what anyone possibly could have envisioned - only 20 or 30 years ago. That seems like eons for songwriters/artists who came up doing "old school" recording.

Analog recording may have been slower and more arduous for the engineers and producers of yesterday(and a few still today); but they knew how to "roll that tape" and create great music. Who can deny that. That being said, I have to say that for any musicians, songwriters or bands today; the recording process and technology is so incredible and affordable - there's no excuse to not create a recording of your songs or music.

The only question now, is how good does it sound? In the end, paying a lot of money to a studio, or to someone doesn't guarantee that a song will sound great - or even good. That's where we try to make a difference - a big difference. Now we can't promise to make a terrible song sound great, but we can make it sound better. We can however take a good song and make it sound very good, and in many cases "great"!  A great song, well - those special songs we simply make them sound "greater"...  that's what we do.

If you're a Christian artist/singer-songwriter, or band we are interested in recording your music. Why? It's simple, we believe Jesus Christ is the only answer for a world shattered with terror, fear, and unbelief...

Without knocking secular music, and there's much that is great - we just don't want to invest our time and effort into music that leaves God out of the equation. It's that simple for us.

Rock, pop, country, folk, rap, holy hip-hop, the spoken word, metal and hymns, and everything in between is welcome here at GODSONGS. The "vehicle/music" isn't the bottom line. We believe the words, the message should be positive and agree with the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Songs about sin, death, divorce, hate, abortion, murder, and every kind of evil in the earth are not a problem... We believe songs should be honest, not "sugar coated", and that means we want to record songs that deal with real life - pain, suffering, failure, all of it.  We don't want anyone reading this to think we want to paint Christianity through "rose colored" glasses - where everything is pretty and sterile... that's just not real.
DIGITAL RECORDING In An Atmosphere That Inspires Creativity !
Picture
Atmosphere. That word brings to mind both good and negative images; depending on what memories it brings to your mind. While we readily admit we're not the Ritz - we do have an atmosphere that we believe inspires creativity, and also allows artists/bands & songwriters to relax and have fun while recording their songs. Let's just say that I know first hand what a "bad atmosphere" is like when it comes to recording music...

Case in point: I remember years ago, when I wanted to record some songs, and I was referred to a guy that had a recording studio. I was told he could do everything right there at his home. Now I'm all for home studios, I have one myself - but this was not pretty!  I was told to stand near his washer & dryer, because it wouldn't hum or make any noise if I stood in this one certain area...

Needless to say, that was my only recording session with that guy.  I can guarantee our clients - "We will not make you stand anywhere near a washer or dryer" when recording here at GODSONGS!  All humor aside, we have attempted to create an atmosphere that is warm and inspiring; not only for the artists/bands & singers who record here - but for the friends and family members who may be here to give them support. The bottom line is we want clients to feel the positive energy and vibes necessary to create beautiful music.

GODSONGS rec. studio has taken on my project of 50 songs and so far has done an excellent job. Michael D'Aigle has really turned my songs into such a professional sound, with the vocals and the music mastered to perfection.  He is also adding some guitar as well, and he definitely knows how to bring out a song to give it some more power!
Thanks for your professional touch!
 Chad Jenner/Singer songwriter

Michael D'Aigle of GodSongs Studio is the most talented in the business.  He takes a song from our vision to God's ears.  The kingdom of God is what the studio stands for.  I know the Angels in heaven are smiling and singing along to the songs Michael works on.  I have struggled to get my music finished for public presentation then one day God sent Michael my way.  I can never thank either one enough for the blessings I have received.
